With continued success working with general contractors, engineers and architects in the Design Build Application to the Mechanical Installation, Energy Management Specialists, Inc. has developed and maintained a mechanical division devised solely to provide quality mechanical work for its' existing customers.
When should you replace the system?
According to the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers, the average life expectancy of light commercial equipment is fifteen years, assuming that a preventative maintenance program has been in effect since installation. Obviously, the life expectancy would be drastically reduced if the system were not properly maintained.
While some reasons for air conditioning replacement (such as age, high utility bills and/or repair expenses) are obvious, others are not. Conditions such as noise, frequent water leaks, the evidence of rust, poor indoor air quality, or lack of humidity control, may be warning signs that the system is no longer operating the way it was designed to. When all or even a few of these problems exist, "just keeping it running" may not be the best solution. At this point the feasibility of upgrading and/or replacing the system should be evaluated.
This is just one of the ways that Energy Management Specialists, Inc. can help you to design and implement the right system for your needs. The consultation is free and the savings can be enormous. For a professional performance evaluation, contact Joe Guzik at 216-676-9045 ex. 118.
Just remember...
Low Bid? It is unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money...that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing that it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot...it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better. - John Ruskin (1819-1900) |
